How can one combine performing the night vigil (Qiyam al-Layl) and acts of worship with studying, given the limited time available for studying at night?

We advise you to schedule a time to wake up late at night, even if for half an hour or less, to perform the night vigil prayer (Qiyam (definition) al-Layl) and supplicate. Supplication at this time is answered and is one of the greatest causes of academic success. Also, make sure to dedicate time to studying lessons and frequently ask Allah for blessing in time and for the rectification of affairs. If it is difficult for you to wake up late at night, then be sure to pray Witr early in the night and perform as many [voluntary] prayers as you can along with it.
