Does a divorce by innuendo occur when the husband says to his wife: "Get out of my sight, I don't want to see you," given that he doesn't recall his intention at the time of uttering the phrase, and he is constantly doubtful about the occurrence of divorce by innuendo, and he wishes to rid himself of these whispers?

The fundamental principle is the persistence of the marital bond. Certainty is not removed by doubt when it comes to divorce. Therefore, obsessive thoughts about divorce are harmless and should be ignored, for the divorce pronounced by one suffering from obsessive thoughts does not take effect, even if he utters the explicit words of divorce. One of the best ways to treat these obsessive thoughts is to completely disregard them and to seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shaytan.
