Is there a prophecy in the Hadith about talking shoes and mobile phones?

Speaking about the signs of prophethood and the portents of the Hour is permissible only with an authentic and explicit text. An authentic hadith has been narrated from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, mentioning among the signs of the Hour that "wild beasts will speak to humans, and a man will be spoken to by the tip of his whip, the strap of his sandal, and his thigh will inform him of what his family did after him." These words must be taken at their apparent meaning; the speech is real from the wild beasts, the tip of the whip, the strap of the sandal, and the thigh, and this is not impossible from a religious or rational perspective. As for interpreting this hadith to refer to mobile phones and the like, that is a distortion of the hadith's meaning and an nullification of its benefit.
