The inability of the eyes to weep out of thead of Allah when hearing the Qur'an and admonitions is a sign of hardness of heart. Its remedy, as mentioned by Ibn Al-Qayyim, lies in four matters: The Noble Qur'an, faith and righteous deeds, avoidance of sins, and repentance and seeking forgiveness.
