Why is one unable to cry out of fear of Allah and the horrors of the Day of Resurrection, despite the intensity of fear and the desire to do so in order to attain the virtue of "two eyes that the Fire shall not touch"?

The inability of the eyes to weep out of thead of Allah when hearing the Qur'an and admonitions is a sign of hardness of heart. Its remedy, as mentioned by Ibn Al-Qayyim, lies in four matters: The Noble Qur'an, faith and righteous deeds, avoidance of sins, and repentance and seeking forgiveness.
