Praise be to Allah for guiding you to prayer and to its timely observance. Be careful not to neglect it, for that is a serious matter. Remembering death and feeling the nearness of one’s end is praiseworthy, as it motivates repentance and acts of obedience. Allah has encouraged good deeds before death, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, taught the mentioned supplication to be recited before sleeping.
