Is it necessary to untie the fallopian tubes for conception after converting to Islam?

The Sharia encourages procreation and multiplying offspring, as it is one of the purposes of marriage to produce Muslim progeny who will benefit their nation. Children are the adornment of worldly life. A woman is not permitted to prevent conception except out of a genuine necessity, such as the danger of pregnancy to her life. It is forbidden to permanently remove the ability to procreate unless there is a Sharia-sanctioned necessity. Temporary birth control is permissible to space out pregnancies or to stop them for a certain period if there is a religiously valid need, provided there is no harm and the method is permissible. Therefore, it is not permissible to tie the fallopian tubes to permanently prevent pregnancy except out of necessity, and they must be untied if no harm results from doing so.
