ما الفرق بين "الم" و "المر"؟

Some commentators mentioned differences between (Alif Lam Ra) and (Alif Lam Mim Ra). Some believe that (Alif Lam Ra) means: "I am Allah, I see," and (Alif Lam Mim Ra) means: "I am Allah, I know and I see." Others mentioned that its meaning is: "I am Allah, the Sovereign, the Most Merciful," or that it refers to the Torah. Various statements regarding its meaning have been narrated from Ibn Abbas. However, the correct view is that this is among the matters Allah has exclusively reserved for His knowledge.
