Is a Muslim's zakat acceptable if he does not pray?

Prayer is a great pillar of Islam, and it is the first thing a Muslim will be held accountable for. Whoever observes it will succeed, and whoever neglects it will fail. A severe warning has been issued for those who are negligent in it, as Allah Almighty says: "So woe to those who pray, [but] who are heedless of their prayer." The one who abandons prayer, denying its obligation, is an infidel by consensus. As for the one who abandons it due to laziness, scholars have differed regarding his disbelief. According to the view that he is not a disbeliever, zakat from him is sufficient, but its acceptance will be imperfect compared to someone who is far from sins.
