Is it permissible, in Sharia, for a man to marry a second wife secretly, without the knowledge of his first wife and his parents, while also neglecting his marital duties towards the first wife, who, for her part, does not fulfill her marital obligations towards him?

It is not permissible for the wife to refuse her husband's bed without a legitimate excuse; otherwise, she becomes disobedient (nashiz). It is permissible for a man to marry a second wife if he is able to be just, without requiring the notification or consultation of the first wife or parents. Marriage may be obligatory for one who fears falling into sin. Justice must be maintained between wives in termsalling the night and in expenditure. It is not permissible to refuse intimacy with the first wife except with her consent. Masturbation is forbidden, and repentance for it is obligatory if it was done by choice. Marriage requires a guardian (wali) and two just witnesses.
