However, if he has brothers or sisters, and the father wishes to favor the questioner with this land, then this is not permissible, due to the obligation of justice between children in gifts and endowments.

Accordingly, the questioner's purchase of this land has two scenarios: 1. If the purchase was for his father from the beginning, and registering it in the questioner's name was merely a formality, and the questioner now wishes to take it, then this is not permissible. 2. If the purchase was for the questioner from the beginning, and he took the amount as a loan from his father, then there is no harm in that, and the land belongs to him, and he is obligated to repay the loan to his father.
