Does masturbating in a dream, accompanied by the sensation of real pleasure, break the fast in Ramadan? And could this be the act of a jinn عاشق (lover)?

We advise the questioner to regularly recite the remembrances (dhikr) before sleep, to dismiss intrusive thoughts from her mind, and to occupy her time with learning and performing good deeds. If she sees herself in her dream practicing masturbation, there is no sin upon her, and her fast is not invalidated by the emission of semen (maniy) or pre-seminal fluid (madhiy). However, ritual bathing (ghusl) becomes obligatory upon the emission of semen, based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Yes, if she sees water," meaning semen. Ibn Qudamah stated in Al-Mughni: "And if one experiences a wet dream, his fast is not invalidated, because it is not by his choice."
