Did the Messenger have children whose role was not mentioned in the history of Islam?

The progeny of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is confined to the descendants of Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn, may Allah be pleased with them both. Everyone who traces their lineage back to them is part of his progeny. The people of knowledge and righteousness from the Prophet's household have shared with others in serving Islam. The responsibility of establishing and supporting the religion rests with all capable Muslims, and there is no distinction in this regard between the Prophet's descendants and others.
