What is the ruling on postponing a marriage date despite everything being ready?

Marriage should be hastened if the parents' approval and the readiness of both parties are available, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "O young people, whoever among you can afford to marry, let him do so." If the parents have reasons for delay, patience is required, and they should be reminded of the virtue of marriage, even if it's just the marriage contract with a delayed consummation, bearing in mind that the suitor is a stranger to his fiancée until the contract is concluded.
