Is it permissible for a girl to send a text message to a young man to check on his mother?

It is permissible to check on the young man's mother, but friendship with him is not permissible because he is a stranger (non-mahram) and a pretext for temptation (fitna) and corruption, especially if there is a love relationship. The duty is to abandon this friendship, and if marriage is possible, it is better, for the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There is nothing like marriage for those who love one another."
