What is the ruling on being optimistic about verses from the Holy Qur’an and expecting good to come from them, and does this fall under the warning mentioned in His (the Most High) saying: "But as for those in whose hearts is deviation, they will follow that which is unapparent thereof, seeking discord and seeking its [final] interpretation"?

Scholars have differed regarding the ruling on seeking good omens from Quranic verses, and the preponderant opinion is that it is prohibited. However, hoping for good to occur after hearing a specific verse is not included in that prohibition. You should supplicate and ask Allah Almighty to fulfill your aspirations. If you find a person of religion and good character, you may offer yourself to him through one of your Mahrams after performing Istikhara.
