What is the directive of the Hadith regarding the Prophet’s — may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him — Dhuhr prayer during the Farewell Pilgrimage in Mina, or in Mecca?

The scholars have reconciled these two hadiths in several ways, among them: - Some preferred the narration of Jabir and Aisha, stating that the Prophet (peace be upon him) prayed Dhuhr in Makkah, and that the narration of Ibn Umar contained an error from some narrators. - Others suggested that he prayed Dhuhr in Makkah, then repeated it in Mina to show permissibility, just as he prayed with his companions twice in the valley of Nakhla. - Al-Nawawi stated that he prayed in Makkah early in the day, then returned to Mina and prayed Dhuhr there again as an imam for his companions. - Ibn al-Mundhir mentioned that a reconciliation could be that he prayed in Makkah, then returned to Mina and found his companions praying Dhuhr, so he joined them as a supererogatory prayer.
