Am I obligated to obey my husband by refusing my neighbor's gift from her Umrah trip and cutting off her visit, especially after a previous disagreement between us, or what should I do?

Allah Almighty has granted men guardianship over women and has made it obligatory for women to obey them in what is good. Thus, obedience to the husband is obligatory. A woman is not obligated to visit her neighbor or accept her gift. If an obligatory matter conflicts with a non-obligatory one, the obligatory matter takes precedence. Therefore, if problems arise with the neighbor, do not visit her without the husband's approval; you can congratulate her by phone. However, if no harm is feared from the neighbor and the husband can be persuaded, then visiting her is more appropriate.
