How should a repentant thief deal with the remaining stolen goods that are difficult to return to their company?

The stolen goods must be returned to the company, even if by indirect means, according to the Prophet's (PBUH) saying: "The hand is responsible for what it has taken until it returns it." It is not permissible to give charity on their behalf if it is possible to deliver it to them. The thief must seek absolution from this injustice, resolve not to return to it, and increase good deeds.
