It is permissible for a person to gift all or part of his wealth to his children and wife during his lifetime, provided there is justice among the children, and that the recipients take possession of the gift during the giver's lifetime.
It is necessary that the intention behind the gift is not to deprive the remaining heirs of inheritance. If the intention is deprivation, then it is not permissible.
