What is the ruling on delaying procreation for the purpose of memorizing the Noble Qur’an?

Delaying pregnancy to achieve a permissible benefit is allowed, provided it is done through a permissible means, such as coitus interruptus (al-azl), which was the available method of birth control during the time of the Prophet, peace be upon him.
