Is the Mahdi considered among the greatest of the truthful (Siddiqin) in the Muslim nation, given his virtue?

The Mahdi is from the Prophet's household, and one of the Imams of guidance and the Rightly Guided Caliphs. He acts according to the Sunnah of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him; he does not awaken a sleeper nor shed blood. He fights upon the Sunnah, and leaves no Sunnah but that he establishes it, and no innovation but that he abolishes it. He will uphold the religion at the end of time just as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, upheld it at its beginning. He will rule the entire world, just as Dhul-Qarnayn and Solomon ruled. He will break the cross and kill the swine. He will restore harmony and blessings to the Muslims, and fill the earth with justice and fairness just as it was filled with oppression and tyranny. He will lavishly bestow wealth without counting it, and distribute wealth equally. The inhabitants of the heavens and the earth will be pleased with him. The Ummah will live in an unprecedented state of bliss during his time. The sky will send down abundant rain upon them, and the earth will yield its fruits.
