Is the stock market forbidden in Islam, and consequently, are researching it and engaging in speculative operations related to it also considered forbidden?

It is impermissible to participate in or assist with studies related to the stock market if it is highly probable that they will be used in prohibited usurious transactions, due to the Almighty's saying: (And do not cooperate in sin and aggression). However, if the nature of the studies makes them usable only for permissible matters, then there is no objection. There is no harm in conducting predictive studies based on market data, reality, and established principles.
