What is the ruling on using perfumes containing alcohol, specifically "alcohol denat" and "benzyl alcohol," after I became aware of their alcohol content? What should I do with them? And is it permissible to give them to those who use them?

Some contemporary scholars consider manufactured alcohol to be pure (tahir), and acting upon this opinion provides ease and relief, given the widespread use of alcohol. It is permissible for those afflicted by obsessive doubts (waswas) to adopt dispensations (rukhsas) and the lighter opinions. Based on its purity, there is no harm in gifting perfumes that contain it. Even according to the opinion that intoxicating alcohol is impure (najis), there is no harm in using materials that contain it if its proportion is small, or if it has transformed into another substance.
