Is it permissible to buy an apartment and register it in the names of the daughters to prevent the brothers from inheriting?

If you grant the apartment to your daughters during your lifetime while you are in good health, there is no harm in that. However, if you put it in their names so that they may acquire it after your death, this is a grant that has not been completed, and the apartment will belong to all heirs after your death.

We advise against doing this if the intention is to disinherit some of the heirs, because this falls under the category of forbidden stratagems that violate the rules of Sharia (definition). Indeed, presenting an outwardly permissible act to invalidate a legal ruling is corrupting. Scholars have explicitly stated the prohibition of stratagems and that they are among the actions of the Jews.
