The answer

If a man forgets the exact wording of an oath he took using the formula of "" (unlawful) or divorce, it appears that nothing is binding upon him, because the occurrence of breaking the oath is not certain. The rule is that anything doubtful is void. Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali said: Nothing is binding upon him if he does not know which of the oaths it was, until he knows or is certain, because the default is the exoneration of responsibility. It should be noted that swearing by making something "haram" or by divorce is not permissible; the lawful oath is swearing by Allah the Almighty.
