Is it permissible for the questioner to marry a married colleague whom she loves and who loves her? What should she do to avoid a scandal with his wife, who has threatened her? Is it permissible to spy on her husband? And is what is happening evidence that this marriage is not good?

The questioner is advised to supplicate frequently and to entrust her affairs to Allah, so that He may choose a righteous husband for her. She should also blame and accuse herself first when calamities strike, based on the Almighty's saying: "And whatever strikes you of disaster - it is because of what your hands have earned, and He pardons much." She should repent sincerely and seek Allah's forgiveness. A Muslim should not belittle any sin; rather, one should consider the greatness of the One Whom they have disobeyed. As for losing self-confidence and confidence in everything, even in Allah, this is from the whispers of Satan that must be resisted and not indulged in, as their consequences are severe. Regarding a wife spying on her husband's phone, this is forbidden. However, she is not held accountable if it happened by coincidence and not intentionally.
