What is the ruling on a wife accompanying her husband on a trip for tourism to an Asian country, knowing that he has little control over his gaze, and does this trip fall under "residing among disbelievers" or "not riding the sea except for Hajj or Jihad"?

Traveling and recreational activities are permissible if they are free from forbidden acts. Traveling to non-Muslim countries for tourism carries religious concerns due to the prevalence of forbidden acts and residing among non-believers. The duration of stay that makes a traveler a resident is more than four days. Your travel with your husband is permissible, but you must not accompany him to places where forbidden acts occur, because there is no obedience in disobeying Allah. The hadith prohibiting sea travel is weak, and sea travel is permissible if its purpose is permissible. It is advisable to try and dissuade your husband from traveling to non-Muslim countries and instead go to the Two Holy Mosques for Umrah and to visit the Prophet's Mosque.
