Is it permissible to place an iron plaque or sign on a grave containing Quranic verses, the name of the deceased, and the date of death?

It is not permissible to write on the grave of the deceased, whether it be Quranic verses or anything else. This is due to the prohibition by the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, against plastering graves, building over them, and writing on them.
