The answer

If the deceased's heirs are limited to the wife and direct children, the inheritance is divided as follows: the wife receives one-eighth due to the existence of offspring, and the remainder goes to the children by way of ta'sib (agnatic inheritance), with the male receiving the share of two females. The grandchildren (children of sons) and siblings and their children do not inherit due to the presence of direct children, as they are excluded by absolute exclusion (hajb hirman).

The inheritance is divided into one hundred and twenty-eight shares: the wife receives sixteen shares, each son receives fourteen shares, and each daughter receives seven shares.

All of the deceased's properties (such as cars and houses) are included in the inheritance. They are appraised and then divided among the heirs, or sold and their price distributed, or their usufruct divided.

If the deceased had two wives at the time of death, they share the one-eighth equally. However, if one of them was divorced and her iddah (waiting period) expired, she does not inherit.
