If a person causes another to commit suicide through unlawful acts such as cursing, insulting, and unjustly beating, then he must perform sincere repentance. However, if he did not exceed what is permissible for him, then he bears no sin, because the one who committed suicide is the one who directly initiated the act of suicide.
