Why do some imams supplicate against disbelievers, even though Islam is a religion of tolerance, and what is the interpretation of hadiths such as: "I will expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula so that I leave none but a Muslim," and "May Allah curse the Jews and Christians for taking the graves of their prophets as places of worship," in the context of hatred towards the People of the Book?

The obligation to detest disbelievers, disavow them, harbor enmity towards them, and refrain from befriending them is a jurisprudential principle that aligns with sound human nature. There is no greater crime than disbelief in Allah, especially the creeds of Christians and Jews, which are based on polytheism, distortion of the truth, and adherence to every evil. Therefore, detesting them is not merely a whim but an alignment with Allah's loves and dislikes.
