How do we respond to the protest of the Rafidah regarding the death of the Prophet (peace be upon him) in the lap of Ali ibn Abi Talib, as they cite the narration mentioned in "Mukhtasar Tarikh Dimashq" by Ibn Asakir, which contradicts what was reported from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that he died between her chest and chin?

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, passed away while resting on the chest of the Mother of Believers, Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her. This is confirmed by the authentic and agreed-upon hadiths found in Bukhari and Muslim.

As for the narrations indicating his death, peace and blessings be upon him, while reclining on the chest of Ali ibn Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with him, these are weak narrations that do not stand up against the authentic hadiths. This is due to the weakness of their chains of transmission (isnad) and their inclusion of narrators accused of lying or those who are unknown. They are considered to be fabrications of the liars among the Shi'a or those who support them.

Scholars such as Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar and Al-Albani have affirmed the weakness of these narrations and their contradiction with the authentic hadiths transmitted from Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her.
