Do the aforementioned Hadiths indicate that jealousy caused Sayyidah Aishah to lie and to forbid the Prophet from what he loves, and that the Prophet's wife hit his hand?

The Mothers of the Believers must be respected and spoken of with satisfaction, and their words and actions appreciated.

Firstly: Regarding Aishah's conversation with the Prophet, peace be upon him, in the story of honey, there was no lie in it. Rather, it was a stratagem using insinuation, not explicit falsehood. This stems from the natural jealousy of women, especially since Aishah was young and deeply in love with the Prophet, peace be upon him. Allah has forgiven them these minor lapses, and they are the wives of the Prophet, peace be upon him, in Paradise.

Secondly: Regarding the incident of breaking the dish, Aishah, may Allah be pleased with her, did not strike the hand of the Prophet, peace be upon him. Rather, she struck the hand of the servant who was carrying the food. The Prophet, peace be upon him, excused her due to jealousy, for a woman is excused for what issues from her out of caution when jealous, as her intellect might be clouded in intense anger.

Every Muslim should revere and love the Mothers of the Believers, and interpret their words and actions in the best possible light.
