The virtue of reading the Quran and its reward have been explained, and that reciting Surat Al- is equivalent to one third of the Quran. As for writing the Quran on walls, it is disliked by some scholars for fear of degradation, and one should not definitively assert a specific reward for this act unless there is a textual evidence (from Islamic sources). However, it is hoped that there will be a reward for whoever intends thereby the countenance of Allah, while noting that this act is disliked.
