Is it true that reading and writing "Say: He is Allah, the One and Only; Allah, the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; And there is none like unto Him" brings 470 good deeds?

The virtue of reading the Quran and its reward have been explained, and that reciting Surat Al-Ikhlas is equivalent to one third of the Quran. As for writing the Quran on walls, it is disliked by some scholars for fear of degradation, and one should not definitively assert a specific reward for this act unless there is a textual evidence (from Islamic sources). However, it is hoped that there will be a reward for whoever intends thereby the countenance of Allah, while noting that this act is disliked.
