Is it permissible to buy a receiver that is presumed to be smuggled, knowing that the buyer did not ascertain the unlawfulness of smuggling until after the purchase?

Smuggling is not permissible due to the corruption and harm it causes to the country and its people. This is also because a Muslim is commanded to listen and obey in what is right. It is not permissible to purchase smuggled goods when one knows or strongly suspects them to be smuggled. As for goods about which there is doubt regarding whether they are smuggled, purchasing them is not forbidden, because the default rule for things is permissibility.
