What is the ruling on selling an employment contract that one received as a gift, when one is in need of its price?

The money taken in exchange for selling a job must be returned, because a job is a deputization on behalf of the authorities and not private property to be sold. Consuming people's wealth unlawfully has been forbidden, and a Muslim's money is sacred to another Muslim. If the job is a public one and was offered as a favoritism, then it is not permissible to accept it from the outset.
