Is there a prayer that protects you from sudden death? And what is it?

Sudden death is among the decrees of Allah, and it may become widespread due to accidents and wars, and it is considered one of the signs of the Hour. It could be good for the righteous believer, as it is a rest and a relief, and it could be evil for the wicked, as it is a grasp of wrath that prevents repentance. The Salaf differed in their views on it due to the differences in their circumstances. Nothing authentic has been reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, regarding sudden death except the hadith: "Sudden death is a grasp of sorrow." Other hadiths besides this are not authentic. There is no specific supplication that protects one from sudden death; rather, it is better to supplicate with what was reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your bounty, the changing of Your well-being, the sudden onset of Your vengeance, and all Your displeasure."
