How is an aggrieved Christian person rehabilitated, and is that permissible religiously?

Whoever aggresses against the right of a non-belligerent disbeliever must seek his forgiveness and restore his right, whether that was backbiting, reviling, or taking money, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever reviles a Jew or a Christian shall enter the Hellfire."
