What is the soundness of the uninterrupted transmission of hadiths, given the possibility of Satan impersonating the Companions or the Prophet—peace and blessings be upon him—and fabricating inauthentic hadiths?

"Shaitan will not take the form of the Prophet (peace be upon him). As for the Companions, there is no need to consider the possibility of Shaitan taking their form, because they are considered trustworthy by the consensus of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah (the People of the Sunnah and the Community), and they are the transmitters of the Sharia. Therefore, a Muslim should fear Allah and be wary of doubts and whispers by turning away from them."
