Is it permissible to harbor the intention of repentance before committing a sin, while feeling the necessity of fully experiencing the disobedience before repenting in order to achieve the feeling of the taste of repentance?

This feeling of postponing repentance is a manipulation from Satan, for there is no guarantee of staying alive until repentance is made, nor is there a guarantee that the intention and resolve for it will remain if one lives a long life. Hearts are not owned by the servant, and sins accumulate. Postponing repentance is a form of feeling secure from Allah's plan, and repentance is obligatory immediately. It is one of Satan's greatest traps. Procrastination is a tree whose fruit is loss and regret, and it led Yusuf's brothers to what befell them. The cure for procrastination is to reflect that most of the cries of the inhabitants of Hellfire are due to procrastination. The procrastinator builds his affairs on what is not in his hands, and his desires do not leave him but rather multiply. He is like someone who postpones uprooting a tree that grows more firmly while he grows weaker.
