Is earning profit from selling programs that were created using an unlicensed operating system and auxiliary programs considered unlawful (haram)?

Using pirated software without the permission of its owners is not permissible and is considered an infringement upon their financial rights. The user must stop doing so. The profit gained from using this software belongs to the user, but he incurs sin by using it. One must repent to Allah and seek forgiveness for using such software for learning and similar purposes. If the user is unable to convey the financial rights to the software owners, then he must give charity with them.
