What are the situations in which a husband has the right to be angry with his wife and for his anger to be answered?
A husband is advised not to get angry, because anger leads to estrangement and the withholding of kindness, and it may harm the person who is subjected to the anger. Marital life is based on understanding and overlooking faults, and the husband must be patient and deal with matters in the best possible way. There are no specific instances in which a husband is entitled to get angry; the matter depends on the nature of the spouses. However, what most warrants anger is the violation of Allah's sacred limits, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would not get angry for himself, but rather he would get angry for Allah's limits if they were violated.
