I know that cursing the Kaaba is disbelief, but is ignorance excused in this case?
If reviling the Kaaba is intended as an act of disdain for Islamic law, then the majority of jurists have agreed on the apostasy of anyone who shows disdain for religious rulings. Thus, reviling the Kaaba falls under the حكم (ruling) of reviling Islamic law or one of its rulings. Reviling Islamic law or reviling the religion, if committed by a Muslim, is considered apostasy from Islam, and ignorance is not an excuse in this regard. Allah Almighty said: "Say, 'Is it in Allah and His verses and His Messenger that you were mocking?' Make no excuse; you have disbelieved after your belief."
