Is someone who curses God excused by ignorance, knowing that we are in a Muslim country?

Whoever insults Allah Almighty has committed an act of disbelief by consensus, whether serious, joking, or mocking. If he was a Muslim apostate, he must be executed, though scholars differ on accepting his repentance. The Shafi'is and Hanafis believe his repentance should be accepted, while the Malikis do not. There is no excuse for one who insults Allah due to ignorance, as ignorance of the prohibition of insulting Allah is inconceivable, unless he used a word he did not know was an insult. In that case, his excuse is outwardly accepted, and his true intention is left to Allah.
