What is the ruling on playing a game that includes the description of the player as a deity, after removing this description from my own version, knowing that it appears to other players?

It is not permissible to remain in gatherings where disbelief in Allah occurs and prohibitions are committed. It is obligatory to denounce those involved and to leave their company, based on the Almighty's saying: (And when you see those who engage in [offensive] discourse concerning Our verses, then turn away from them until they enter into another conversation. And if Satan should cause you to forget, then do not remain after the remembrance with the wrongdoing people.) This prohibition applies to those who sit with them without exercising piety towards Allah. However, for one who enjoins good and forbids evil, and the evil is removed or lessened, there is no blame upon him.
