What is forbidden by lineage is also forbidden by fosterage, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "What is forbidden by lineage is forbidden by fosterage." So, if the girl was nursed by Umm Imad, and Abu Imad was the source of the milk, then the girl becomes a sister to Imad, and he is not permitted to marry her. It is stipulated that there must be five full, satisfying breastfeedings.
