Is it permissible to describe Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as "the first of God's creation" as a form of praise for him?

Muhammad, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him, is the best and most elevated of Allah's creation in status, but he is not the first thing Allah created. The first of the creations is the Throne. As for what is narrated about his creation from light, and the association of his name with the name of Allah, and Adam seeing his name written near the Throne, nothing of that is authentically established from the Prophet, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him.
