Is it permissible to create a website that addresses death and admonition, dedicating a section to present the virtues of the deceased in an admonitory and artistic manner through pictorial and chanted flash videos, provided that the video requester donates a symbolic amount to mosques whose construction is not yet complete?

Creating a website for preaching, and publishing all that is beneficial and permissible, is a good deed. The internet should be utilized for this purpose, as it is a global platform for delivering the call to Islam.

As for placing pictures of the deceased in flash presentations, if it is for boasting or to stir up grief and renew sorrow, then it is impermissible and akin to wailing (niyaha). If it is not for such a purpose, and is intended to remember the deceased for prayer and seeking mercy for them, then there is no harm in it, provided the pictures do not contain any شرعي (Shar'i) violation.
