If a husband utters a divorce while not realizing what he is saying due to astonishment, shock, or similar states, his divorce is not effective. As long as the husband denies uttering the divorce and it appears that he was astonished and did not intend to pronounce it, then his divorce has not occurred, and his word is accepted in this regard.
