Is it permissible to eat non-forbidden food offered by a disbeliever, given the possibility that their utensils were previously used for pork and alcohol, despite being washed?

Relations between a Muslim and a non-Muslim are divided into two types:

1. A relationship of affection and love: This is forbidden and can amount to disbelief, due to the Almighty’s saying: ﴿You will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day loving those who oppose Allah and His Messenger﴾.

2. A relationship of buying and selling, or accepting an invitation and a gift without affecting the Muslim: This is permissible, and it is permissible to consume lawful food and drink offered by a non-Muslim, even if it was in a vessel previously used for forbidden things, provided it is washed well after use. This type of relationship can be a means of inviting to Islam.
